The Ultimate Book Battle

We are heading into our 3rd annual reading compeitition, "The Ultimate Book Battle" with Butterfield Canyon Elementary and this year Silver Crest Elementary is joining the competition.   The school with the most minutes read will receive a trophy and a special school assembly!

The competition is going to be fierce and we want to keep the trophy at Foothills, so please encourage your student to READ, READ, READ as much as possible in the two weeks of competition.  The class that reads the most will receive a game and ice cream party!

Please record the number of minutes your child reads each night independently at home on the "Ultimate Book Battle Calendar" and return it by the date due with a parent signature so the minutes will be counted toward our school.    In order to ensure a fair and competitive atmosphere, only minutes recorded on the "Ultimate Book Battle Calendar" will be counted.
